Hello everyone!
This is going to be an exciting semester!
Our meetings are now in the Rec Center! We ordered 2 tables over winter break that are slowly arriving, so at the Rec Center we'll have access to 3 tables and 4 if we bring the one from upstairs down to Court C.
There is some space in Court D for us to set up a second table, but most likely we'll be using Court C, especially for the Friday meetings.
Speaking of,
Meeting times for this semester:
Mondays: 3:30pm-5:30pm
Fridays: 12:00pm-2:00pm
We will start having our Monday meetings starting on Jan. 29th. We will not have an official meeting on Mon. Jan. 22nd. If there's enough interest for a third meeting, we are open to trying to get a third one going.
PA Divisionals!
The National Collegiate Table Tennis Association (NCTTA) is hosting the PA Divisionals on Feb. 3rd at UPenn. Teams that perform well move on to Regionals, which this year is in Pittsburgh. We are attending this event! Unfortunately though, there are only 5 spots available on the team.
If you're interested in playing in PA Divisionals on Feb. 3rd at UPenn inplease come to our meeting at the Rec Center on Friday, Jan. 26th, at 12:00pm. We will hold a mini-tournament where the winners qualify to go to the NCTTA event.
As always, if you plan to go to our meetings make sure you join our club on IMLeagues and sign the club sports waiver!
