As a member of one of our many ensembles and organizations, you will not only serve as a representative of Shippensburg University, you will also play an integral part in something bigger than yourself. There are few other places on campus where you will find more opportunities to take on a leadership role than within the Music and Theatre Arts Department. Many of our ensembles and organizations depend on student leadership to ensure smooth logistics and a great experience for everyone involved.

Music and Theatre Arts Department groups regularly travel both throughout the country and around the world.
You might find yourself in Belfast, Ireland with the Concert Choir, Los Angeles, CA with the Jazz Ensemble, or performing for the Pope in Rome with the Marching Band.
