International Education Week
Due to concerns for the safety of students, this fall marks the first time in 16 years that we have not been able to celebrate International Education Week with our normal flag display on the quad. Green League, Geography-Earth Science majors, International Studies majors, the GBLUES lab school, and other organizations have sponsored this program since its inception. Not being able to post the flags for all to see is unfortunate, but we understand the risks for this public display.
That said, we will post the flags and celebrate with an indoor display TONIGHT (OCT. 27, 2025) in Stewart Hall at 6:30 p.m. We encourage everyone in Green League to attend and participate.
We will be watching a short 35 minute National Geographic film called the Flagmakers and we will have an informal discussion following the film. There will be some refreshments and I think it will be fun learning experience for everyone. If you would like to watch the trailer, please do so here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKCN_ppi2yw
So please join us and help us celebrate the start of International Education Week.
