The Shippensburg University PRSSA chapter is a pre-professional society for students who are interested in public relations and communications. We are an international organization with over 300+ chapters across the United States, Colombia, Argentina and Peru! Students are urged to join in order to network with professionals and enhance their professional knowledge...all while having some fun!
Shippensburg University PRSSA has various opportunities to shine as an aspiring public relations professional. Members have the opportunity to work with a real-life client and client team, create social media graphics, contribute to our newsletter and blog, assist with event planning for fundraising efforts and gain leadership experience throughout professional development events.
PRSSA can help you gain the experience and practical knowledge employers are seeking. Members can gain valuable leadership skills by becoming involved throughout the chapter.
Network, learn and interact with public relations students from around the country at PRSSA events such as International Conference, Leadership Assembly and District Conferences.
You can use the PRSSA Internship Center to find public relations employment opportunities. You could also network with our alumni through workshops and guest speaker events.
