Mission Statement: American Cancer Society Colleges Against Cancer is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by initiating and supporting programs of the American Cancer Society in college communities.
CAC at Ship: We work alongside the American Cancer Society with Ship students and staff to work through the many channels of eliminating cancer including: advocacy, cancer education, Relay for Life, and Survivorship.
Relay for Life at Ship is a 12-hour, overnight event that celebrates survivors, remembers those who have passed from cancer, and fights for a cure and those currently battling cancer by raising money for the American Cancer Society. "Cancer doesn't sleep so neither do we!"
