About Us

In-Motion Dance Troupe is an organization dedicated to the broadening of interest and education in dance at Shippensburg University. Given that mission, members of the group engage in a variety of dance techniques, explore new dance styles, and cultivate ability in both performance as well as choreography. Although there is a focus on the hip-hop, jazz, and lyrical styles of dance, members are encouraged to explore the full art of dance by practicing a variety of styles and engaging in training opportunities designed to expand their appreciation for dance. Members demonstrate their abilities by participating in multiple competitions, recitals, performances, and dance-related service activities throughout the school year. With the aforementioned description in mind, In-Motion Dance Troupe hereby submits itself to be based on and governed by our democratic constitution.
